Overclock3D Seeking to expand UK review team.

So Jim, to be in the "Short List" we have to be in the UK? Or are you focusing on applicants in the UK first? (I just want to see if there is the most tiny,miniscule chance I might make the Short List). Other than that I understand if I live too far away for it to be economical, or if there are more experienced applicants living closer to you than me.

I really do think I'm going to have to keep it limited to UK - or at least places nr UK that I can ship to cheaply.

It is a shame because I know many of you outside the UK are talented and I've even had offers from editors at large publications in the USA, but I've gotta turn them away because sending things to/from other countries is a real hassle and expense

Its going to be quite a long process by the look of things. I wasn't expecting anywhere near as many entries as I received (around 40 so far).

Once I get this nailed down to 10 people I'll be sending round products for a trial review then making my decision from there

Also - there IS more than 1 position available.

Sorry I haven't got my review in so far... I've got a fairly free afternoon once this coursework is finished.

As long as it takes I guess. With 40+ applicants, there must be a lot of reading involved and even once the better applicants have been determined from the pile, I'd imagine there's some tough decisions to be made. I'm sure there's a lot of capable writers that have applied.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised that once the shortlist was picked he wanted another sample or something.
