Overclock3D Ltd accepts no liability for any loss or damage to items sent to its offices for review. Manufacturers should additionally be aware that collection of review hardware is their own responsibility.

But seriously I don't want anyone to be deluded into thinking that GTX295's will fall from the sky's and DDR3 kits will gush out of your taps when you run a bath - they wont.

Any hardware that is 'kept' by OC3D is generally on the agreement that it will be used in future tests. In this instance the hardware becomes the property of Overclock3D (the company - not me) and is not for resale.

That doesn't mean however that when the hardware isn't in use, you cant build yourself a beast of a PC with all the components you've got 'laying around'

Yeah the unfortunate thing about having reviewers overseas is stuff like import taxes, delivery times and of course cost.

If I were to send you a product for review and then the company wanted it back afterwards I'd also have to pay to get it collected, brought back into the UK and then have it ready for the manufacturer to collect.

A commercial sample (which review items will be) are not taxed iirc. Which is good news for our outside EU members Within the EU there are no import fees at all, or at least that's what the dutch customs site claims.

It could be cheaper as most established technology companies have some sort of office/facility in Asia or Australia, unless it has to be sent from the UK offices.

Its going to be quite a long process by the look of things. I wasn't expecting anywhere near as many entries as I received (around 40 so far).

Once I get this nailed down to 10 people I'll be sending round products for a trial review then making my decision from there

So Jim, to be in the "Short List" we have to be in the UK? Or are you focusing on applicants in the UK first? (I just want to see if there is the most tiny,miniscule chance I might make the Short List). Other than that I understand if I live too far away for it to be economical, or if there are more experienced applicants living closer to you than me.
