I have an Intel x6800, runs at 2.9 stock

I have Corsair XMS2 2 x 2gb

and my motherboard is a Abit Fatal1ty fp-in9 sli

and a GTX280...

The highest I can overclock it to is 3.3...any more and I get the BSOD just after the win 7 boot loading screen. I achieve that without changing votages, multipliers and what not...

Its obviously something im not doing as i've seen these mobos and cpus go much higher..

here is my CPU-Z validation thingy http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1589338

can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong??

many thankies

Yes. You're not changing the voltages

Yer but I have no idea what to change it to etc etc....lol

My old p4 was a fantastic overclocker, I think it was one of those special chips..

Anyway,

can anyone suggest what voltages I should change ?

Thank you

I know there is a very nice overclocking guide somewhere, i will try to find it for you mate
