Hey
I use my PC for ie gaming hehehe.
To over my CPU I take some care because if I lost this system my girl will kill me. My last system 2 months ago I lost the MOBO because got trouble in the transmission of the cable of ATX 12V near of the CPU.
I wanna to do this step by step to avoid troubles.
Is possible you give me configs like follow below for make over to 3,5 only? by the way, the set that you see is for 3800 and 4200 MHZ. I not tried this!
AI overclockTuner: Manual
CPU Ratio Setting: 19 (21) (try 19x200)
Base Clock Frequency: (200Mhz)
CPU Turbo Power Limit: Disabled
DRAM Frequency: (2005 MHZ) 1866MHz (either 1604mhz or 2005mhz) go with 1600mhz first
UCLK Frequency: (4009 MHZ) ( change to 3200 if you go with 1600mhz) this should be 2x your ram
QPI Link Data Rate: Auto (set to 7218mt/s)
EPU II Phase Control: Full Phase
CPU Loadline Calibration: Enabled
CPU Differential Amplitude: Auto
IOH Voltage OCP: Enabled
DRAM Voltage OCP: Enabled
QPI Voltage OCP: (Enable)
Extreme OV: Disabled
CPU Voltage Control: Absolute VID (auto)
CPU Voltage: (1,35V)
CPU PLL Voltage: (1.88V)
QPI/DRAM Core Voltage: (1.50) 1866MHz 1.45V ~ 1.50V (drop to 1.35v and increase as needed increase one notch at a time)
IOH Voltage: (1.12)
IOH PCIE Voltage: (1.53)
ICH Voltage: (1,12)
ICH PICE Voltage: (1.53)
DRAM Bus Voltage: 1.66V (1.65) 1.64V (1.65625) asus boards either 1.64 or 1.66 type in 1.65 it will set to 1.65625
CPU Spread Spectrum: Disabled
PCIE Spread Spectrum: Disabled
CPU Clock Skew: Auto
IOH Clock Skew: Auto
C1E – DISABLE /// Intel ® Speedstep – Disable //// Intel C State – Disable
Frequency Controller – Disable
try this remember dont rush and be paticiant start at the bottom and work your way up once again you should be able to acheive 3.8ghz @ 1600 or 2000mhz have you tried running 1600mhz ram @ stock speeds yet? this is where you need to start good luck m8
