orginal mach gt evap head question

quick question for those of you who have done a mod on the orginal evap of a prommy. Is there any way possible for air to enter the sealed cpu area (when the kit and mach are installed) through the back of the evap head? I can't describe it better than that. Let me try again... The square copper evaporator is housed in a black plastic box (basically) with a white plastic sheet surrounding the evap head. Is there anyway air could go in around the gas ruturn line area in the box and come out into the cpu area? Thanks

I`ll say no, coz if it could, the rest of the seal would be pointless. I`ll let one of the others answer officially though :)

thanks for the reply..I know it would be pointless but Im just wondering if something inside the evap area could fail to allow air into the cpu area. I don't know what it looks like as Ive never taken it apart...

BOA 279 - Where are u in the UK? Would you be willing to travel for a lesson in mach head mounting?

I think sometimes its better to show someone than to try and describe.

Im actually in Germany Mav...you guys just tend to have much more acurate information. I understand how how a phase change setup works...I understand how cascades work...Because of my recent hardware swimming pool incident I was just curious how air is prevented from going through the mach head setup....is the white plastic piece simply lgued in there to make a seal or what??

You can use insulation ie the white stuff is a neoprene type foam or you could use closed cell neoprene and seal string and dialetic grease
