One Module

Since I'm thinking of getting a Asus P67 Sabertooth, can it support one module of DDR3 RAM? Just that I know motherboards can be picky about how many modules can be used and I'm hoping it can support one to allow for more RAM to be added later. Crucial have 4GB single for £41 and I was thinking of getting another later on in the year to allow for 8GB is dual channel RAM.
