On a budget, need reccomandations

Do you have 3 screens? Or a 2560x1440+ monitor? If not, then no.
Go with a EVGA 670 FTW. More than enough, and is compatible with 680 waterblocks.

Could grab a 4GB 670 I guess, its cheaper than the 680 4gb and can hold the textures/vertex data for the larger resolution. I think 2GB is fine for 2560x1440. Suppose if you are using like higher res textures with mipmaps then it could gobble the memory, but 2560x1440 isn't extreme.

i might just go with that.

Yeh thats the 04G-P4-2673-KR which is reference 670. The XSPC razor 670 will fit on that.

Lol that guy.. I watch his video where his res leaked all over the pc. xD

Pretty much all the Z77 boards are very good and so spending between 100-300 pounds doesnt really make too much of a difference in performance. You pay for the extra features or the branding really - hence why the RoG boards are so expensive.
You wont really see a difference between the G45 or the GD65 - but if you're thinking about spending 250 quid on the RoG, you may as well go for the extra features of the GD65

Ive always perfered Gigabyte and asus over MSI. Especially after MSIs cheap vrm usage resulting in failures from years back.

I though you wanted thunderbolt mate?

alright, thanks.

im thinking of getting MSI Z77A-GD65 Z77 instead of the asus overpriced ones.

do you agree or is there a better one for the price?
