So I was browsing last night looking at the new 12-Core Opteron Magny-Cours CPUs we just got yesterday at Aria reading some reviews.

So while bored I checked eBay to see what the going rate was for a used 12-Core. Usually around £600-900 depending on what model.

I found a guy selling 2 12-Core 1.90GHz models (same as the ones we have).. to my surprise there was 16hrs left and only £52 at that time.

Now here's the ****ing awesome part. On my lunch, went back to eBay and with 4mins left, it was only £68??

Chucked in a bid of £500 max.

Ooops looks like I meant £400 for the Asus as the Supermicro has a big chunk missing.

That said, while the Asus is over £400 pretty much everywhere, I did find this.

Edit: Forget that... Shipping is £68.81 plus VAT on top.
