Well with the parts for my new build due today, i thought i should ask... what should/could i do with my old pc(s).
Currently on my small computer desk i have 2 screen, and an all in one printer. problem is these two screens are actually from my different computers. Now im thinking of selling the more recent one; it is intel quad core 2, 4gb ram and its from dell. Looks in good condition and hasnt really done me wrong. came with an 18" LG screen (which im wanting to harvest for my new build till i can get something nicer).
But behind that i have this clunky looking 15" flat monitor by Sony which came with my second pc. This is the one im curious about the most. Its an old sony Vaio, AMD athlon 2800+. Looks like crap when sat next to the dell, that dingy grey colour. a gaping hole in the side where got someone to bodge a fan hole cause the thing had this annoying beep for when it was overheating. When i got the dell i kept saying "ill sell it, ill sell it..." but never got round to it. and i dont want that to happen with the dell too.
So what could i do with the old sony? are there places that still salvage these old relics?
