G'day my fellow OC3Der's as some may be aware I have had some issues with Gigabyte anyway won't go into that, so here are the new bits I'm hoping to buy in the next week
1 Intel I7 3770k $345au
2 MSI Z77 Mpower $199au
3 Sapphire Radeon 7970 3GB OC with boost $419au
4 Corsair H100i $145au
So the main thing im curious about is the graphics card anyone got any opinions on it or something else to look at?
Cheers for now Ex.

get a 7950, the performance is pretty similiar and it's 100$ less. or a 670, cheaper as well and should do as good as a 7970.

Thanks for the reply the 670 here is actually more expensive than the 7970 so for the dollars a 7970 would probably be the way to go yes

7970 if you can afford it, if you are streching it then go for 7950 MSI, Asus, or XFX. Also make sure your case can support the h100i

I'm gonna get the sapphire 7970 got best bang for buck it seems and the 600T will take a h100i just not in push pull just pull only from what i can tell im really excited about the new parts they should be great.

Sounds great, though i do not understand what you mean best bang for the buck when their should only be like a 30$ difference between them? Are you just taking the cheapest one?

No prices in Aus are really quite expensive to give you an example the MSI Lightning model is over $100 dearer and the Gigabyte is $50 and Asus $60 more expensive so I think as this has 1000 on the core which is higher than the others except the lightning its got more bang for buck. Ok just rechecked and it dont have a higher clock its the same clock as the Asus top and 100 less than Gigabyte but it is cheaper.
