Hello guys, kinda new here and i was just wondering if my new build is compatible and or would fit with the other components that i'm gonna use in my first build, i would like to get some help from you guys.

so here is what i have been planning to build

My budget is more or less $2,000.

CPU : intel core i7 3770k
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i hydro series cpu cooler
MoBo: MSI Z77 MPower
Memory: (16GB) 2x Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer 8GB (2x4GB) 1600 CL8, Led
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 3GB GDDR5 OC
PSU: Aerocool Strike-X 800watts 80Plus Silver
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 Sata
SSD: Corsair Force Series GT 60GB SATA 3 6Gb/s
Tower: Aerocool XPredator Evil Black edition
Fan: Aerocool Shark Fan Devil Red edition 120mm (8 pcs)
Fan Controller: 2 x NZXT Sentry 2 touchscreen fan controller

and i would like to know if the H100i and MSI Z77 Mpower will fit properly in the Aerocool XPredator evil black edition, 'cause i haven't really found any videos in the internet that shows how well it goes with one another, and if the PSU will be enough to supply for my build, any comment is much appreciated and if there is a much better alternate for any of the parts of my build i would really be grateful thanks guys.

The PSU needs replacing for something of a better quality. One of corsairs 650Watt units would be fine.

Samsung SSD maybe?

Two fan controllers? - have a look at lamptron

welcome to the OC3D forums.
what 'cha gunna be using the PC for? gaming primarily or productivity mainly?
how many monitors? how hot does it get in your computer room?

Thank you sir, i'm thinking of building this PC for productivity and gaming maybe, half and half. i'm currently using a samsung 32" monitor/tv and my room is not that hot as the AC is always on sir.

i since a theme in the aerocool lineup.

for the case/cooler of the intel no it will not fit. not enough room for rad and fan
set. i saw an amd setup with a 990sabertooth and it was tight. the intel with the
MOSFET 'sink makes it not gunna fit catagory.
what other case manufacturers do you have access to?

id opt for the GD55 and up the RAM speed and SSD size.

PSU stick to seasonic/corsair for reliability and 750watt is plenty, 650 for power curve.

although flashy and novel, the fan controller can easily be remedied with correct fans
and/or fan speed reducers and/or a better case.

as said before,
get a different PSU (corsair, seasonic or xfx)
get rid of the fan controller since it's going to annoy you shortly and get some proper fans instead (corsair sp/af 120 QE or noctuas)
i also don't agree with an SSD with just 60gb in a 2k$ rig, get a bigger one if possible
and the case looks horrible imo, what about a corsair 600t?

i would get a different 7970, maybe look into the club3d or msi cards.
oh yea, and definitely the PSU needs to be changed and i'm not a fan of the case (hue) either.

yes i suggest a bigger ssd and a seasonic/corsair/xfx psu too.if you don`t plan to CF in the future you don`t need 800W. for the case...well thats a personal choice and you have to like it not us

Hi Xhaos,
Sorry I didn't tell you earlier but , Welcome to the forums.
I would recommend you get a larger ssd , at the very least around a 120gb for your operating system, a 60gb will fill up fast. Samsung , Corsair and Intel are good IMO.

thanks for the reply sir, my other alternative for the case is a Cooler Master Haf X, would it fit with the msi z77 mpower and a h100i sir?

Btw thanks for all those who welcomed a newbie like me in the forums ^_^, you guys are so nice and hospitable hehehe thanks alot heheh.

i too want to wish you a belated welcome to the OC3D forums.

the HAF X and H100/i fit fine with intel motherboards.
i know availability is hard to find, but that HAF X would be massive overkill
with just a H100/i, minimal looking. and very HUGE as well..
the simple CM 690II would be an easy case with a smaller foot-print for desk
applications.
