[OFFICIAL] OC3D Overclockers Club

1.344 volts is way too much mate, especially for those clocks. 4.5GHz should be achievable at approx. 1.225v.

cant get it stable! ive started with stock settings and tweaked and tweaked so much that i cant find the appropriate descriptive term for it lol!

depends on the cpu my brothers 3770k can do it at 1.250 but my neighbors needed 1.325...

ive had my 3570k at 1.225 4.5ghz but my cooling isnt good enough to keep it there..

i swear by that video, ive used it various times...but i cant get my head round it

right now im trying 4.6 @1.28v LLC extreme and its 3 minutes into IBT seems ok.....but i know itll crash

IBT is really, really heavy. Your CPU will never be that much loaded. I suggest OCCT or Prime95 for stress testing mate :)

this i use occt used to only use prime but had some issues with prime on my old board it managed to burn out a memory slot... since then i swier by occt :D

Well before I left to go out, using linpack mode on occt, manage get stable for 40 mins, 4.7 @ 1.295v with llc on extreme, was slightly hot, might mess about with the llc see if we can get temps down!

finally got water cooling sorted, will put the build on the gallary soon.
first overclocks are as follows.

amd 1090t @ 4.2 GHz and HD 7950 @ 1GHz.
have a lot of headroom temperature wise so expect higher soon.

This looks like the right place to have a spreadsheet in post #1 which holds all the data of the members final OCs. Have you got any plans for doing something like that AvNinja?

My current 24/7 clock, Prime95 24hr stable:

4.8GHz @ 1.355 under load. Max temp 66C.
(3570K on z77a-GD65. Delidded and custom watercooled).

M&P

I'm currently looking into something like that, with google docs. Will see if it works out, if not, I'll keep myself busy with the OP :p

Right stable at 4.6 @1.3v cpu-z reports 1.304 on load, 1.312 on idle, temps are ranging from 83-88 on all cores, i know its a little hot but real world usage wont let it get that hot!

also, im 100% sure my gpu's perform better at this clock speed, or is it the placebo effect?

Yea I was going to mention embedding Google docs as a method, forgot to type it though!

Would be nice to have all the data in one place, but don't rush it on my account :D
