OCZ ZX series??

i was thinking of buy a new psu for a new build im going to be doing.

came across these, fully modular psu's

has anyone used one of these, and what are your thoughts on this psu series?

I've never seen anyone on this site give a resounding thumbs up to an OCZ PSU. OCZ are meant to be giving up selling PSU's in favour of the more lucrative SSD market - so where that will leave your future RMA is anyone's guess. I think that you'll find most people would recommend - Corsair, Seasonic, Enermax, BeQuiet are some of the most popular ones. The PSU is one area where everyone would agree that its not worth skimping on.

I have an OCZ Gamextreme 600w.

Tbh ,it's just a stop gap till I find something better.

I've never had a lot of faith in OCZ.

not sure thats 100% accurate Sheroo i think they are no longer manufacturing them but They will continue to sell them just someone else makes them now lol I'll have to dig up the dirt to be 100% certain. But I'm with ya wheres that leave RMA say they fall out with manu??? I'd go Corsair I'm upgrading to the AX850 next week

ive bought a zx1250 w just a few weeks ago, the zx series is getting very good reviews on sites like jonnyguru and kitguru
