I think the OCZ Gold PC3200 (BH5) would be a good budget buy![]()
the geil and gskill memories are only about 10-15 USD more than the OCZ gold edition ram. That imho is a money totally well spent. OCZ has had luke warm results with the gold edition rams.
Especially since its one of their value oriented good memory setup ( platinum being the best of the best from them ) i personally feel and from what i have read and seen , conclude that the best buy for bh5 die ram as of now for a 1gb kit ( if you do not have a kit of old school bh5 ) would be the Gskill GH series.
Go to the bandwidth section in www.xtremesystems.org/forums and do a search for gskill GH . Ull see what im talking about. Runs upto about 270 mhz with the tightest A64 tweaker settings and about 3.4-3.5V.
If you have a DFI NF4 board then you definitely cant go wrong with this ram . Pair that up with a 11x or 12x multi and some good cooling ( water or phase , your choice ) and watch it rip apart the 3dmark01 orb.

If you have an intel setup then the OCZ DDR Booster works with most of the ASUS boards and still gives you a min of about 3.4 V , which should give you about 240 or so letting you run a nice 5:4 divider.
