OCCT monitoring options

I had this issue the other day when overclocking, but now I have come back for some more testing this issue seems to be more frequent.

The issue I am experiencing is that one of the cores stops registering a temp and is shown as a low figure of 2 or 3 degrees, then after a minute or so it shows 120+ degrees and remains static.

I have real temp and coretemp and neither of these throw up this weirdness. While typing this I have OCCT 4.4.0 idling and it seemed fine but with my eyes down it now is saying 127c.

I have just restarted OCCT and am now logging with CoreTemp.
I have noticed that within OCCT there is a CoreTemp monitoring option but can't get this to work.

Can anyone shed some light on this or let me know how you use CoreTemp for the monitoring?

p.s. its just done it again since restarting

I restarted again and this time I was going to take some screen shots.
Unfortunately it ran for 30 minutes and didn't do it. Weird?

Not that this shows anything other than how i'm viewing it. I'm going to leave them up and hopefully get a pick to show you what I mean.

core temp log shows no weird behaviour.
Its actually been about 5 minutes and its still on 2c.
