OC3D Welcomes the Redline Redux Folding Team

Hi every one i m new here i open a thread my main rig can not handle folding at home so i opted for my ps3 which runs wonderful.
Any way i will be folding at home tile my ps3 brakes i leave it on all day and night.

i yesterday put togehter a dedicated folding rig
nothing special...intel e5200@ 3.2Ghz (i could get it to 4.0-4.2) and 8800gts 512@stock. will overclocking it fasten up the folding?
cpu and gpu?

You will get a bump in PPD depending on how much you OC your CPU and GPU. I'm not sure how much of an increase you will see, but you will see one.

Hey Dario, welcome to the team. What is the PPD for your 760? The 3570K should get around 15 - 18K depending on the clock as my 2600K gets around that with hyper-threading off.
 
I'm assuming you're using the V7 client? If so, I don't think you can check the individual PPD

EDIT: Sorry you can. From the drop-down box on the right choose the "Advanced" option and all the info you need should be there. I was still using GPUTracker due to problems with the V7 client, which is why I just assumed you couldn't check.

Click on the >> on the top right first and a drop-down box should appear allowing you to set the "mode." Choose advanced from the drop-down.
