Get a neat little program called HFM which monitors it all.

Sounds about right. But it's ok because it's just a different type of WU. What flags are you running, I forget?

So does the SMP report throughout the day and give points incrementally, or does it have to finish a WU like the other clients before you are credited points? Curious, because if it waits till the end like the others, I hope it's a LOAD of points because it damn near takes like 4 days for my machine to do a single SMP core.

u dont get the point till its finished my i7 takes and will 3 days to put my first wu in still says 2 days 7 hours but at the end ill get 64000 points

Takes me less than 24hrs and I am on a very similar rig to yours.
