Maybe that's due to the Radeon?

My GPU uses >2% of any core when running.

ATI's do use the CPU to make up for the lack of shaders.

And TTL is right about the ATI using the CPU.... Uses almost a whole core. I only ever have 50-60% CPU available for the SMP at any given time.

That's normal behaviour. SMP requires more of the CPU time.

I completed my first WU (since about 07/08) on the GPU client the other day and I'm 80% on my 2nd. I dunno if its the updated GPU client, my card or just small WU's but it seems to be going a lot quicker than the last time I had it installed!
