OC3D Unreal Tournament 3 Server Now LIVE!

Hopefully there will be some peeps on tonight :)

I've been trying different DM servers, but it seems so easy :( so many noobs keep blowing themselves up.

Or on the map with the spider thing, there's always one who gets into it and takes everyone out as if it's skillfull :rolleyes:

I don't think I've ever got into any games where it's FPS with vehicles :( but it would be cool to see how good vCTF is with proper players :) seems very bad and boring against bots.
 
Well, my pc can just about run it, but i swear i can count the pixels and not get into double figures.

Think im going to have to have a rejig oof pc's in my house hold.

Had a nice one on one with Kemp too whilst waiting with the opposition's flag...it ended in a 1-1 draw...though I got pwnt a few times. My hoverboard skills are improving tho!

Hoverboard is only good when grappling, or you are trying to get somewhere you know enemies won't see you, cause if you get shot you fall off, and you are practically sure to die.
 
Can you change the hoverbopard key in the demo? I know you will in the full game but it just annoys me reaching miles over the KB (arrows player here)

hahah! arrows, who does that. you can try the 'set bind' command, I don't the specifics or if it would work in the demo. But that's probably your best bet.
 
what kinda spec does this need to run on?

would it run ok on my laptop?

intel C2D 1.66GHz x2 2mb l2 cache

120 gig hard drive

gig of ram DDR2-533

and intel onboard 945GM graphics?
 
Does ne1 have problems with the demo saving their key bind changes btw? I hate WASD so change it to arrows...but have to do that every time :(

I have had a few times when the demo decides it doesn't want to save anything. And everything goes back to defualt.. :(

Arrows? WOAH How in gods name do you play with arrows? Not enough buttons close by!

And Kemp, you can change the hover board key in the control settings.. can't ya? ;)

RCTRL = Jump

RSHIFT = Crouch

Enter = Use

0/INS = Talk

The rest is assigned to mouse buttons ;)

Wow! I cannot do that at all, control is way to far away... to much effort just to jump! ;)

I love it with WASD when you have your thumb resting on the space.. w00t JUMP!

I swear U/UT never used to be WASD because it was always the Quake guys who had WASD and the UT guys who had arrows. Arrows ftw :p

I guess i could never get used to WASD because of the S is hard to get to when it's behind your middle finger.
 
arrows ftl tbh (no keys directly next to them & they are straight and not as ergonomic)

I've used WASD since 1995 on duke3d

I've not had any problems with the keybindings. The only ones I've changed tho are ZXC for weapons, MOUSE2 for jump and MOUSE4 for secondary fire.

Have you tried looking in the UTInput.ini? also once you have them set you could try setting UTInput.ini to read-only as it could be possible the DefaultInput.ini is overriding the settings you set. You could even edit the DefaultInput.ini to have your own bindings in it.

another thing I just thought is that you could comment out those default bindings in the defaultinput.ini
