R Raven New member Aug 7, 2006 #5 looked good but 2 things cought my eyes. the first one was the hdtach burst score, roughly 133mbyte/s indicating the harddrive was limited to sata1. that in turn indicates the ncq might have been disabled as the sata controller itself may not support it. i get over 230mbyte/s in burst speed on my 160gb seagate. EDIT: did a quick check on the motherboard and its supposed to have sata2 which also means it has ncq. any idea why the burst speed was so low ?

P Phnom_Penh New member Aug 7, 2006 #7 Also, when you did the file transfer, from one drive to the other, the scores were pretty much the same for the raid and the seagate, I think this is due to the bandwidth of the OS drive?

F FarFarAway New member Aug 7, 2006 #9 I've looked into this and it should be enabled. I will try this again tonight and perhaps wednesday when I have a new motherboard Review back up for now
