Yes! Witcher 3 was totally awesome and so were the expansion's!

But if we had to choose this year's game's, Total War Warhammer. Second would be Civ VI

I personally would like to put XCOM 2 on this list.

If you build your own custom characters based on people you know it becomes such a storied experience. Tom "TTL" Logan the sniper was a squad legend.

It was a huge improvement over the original game and played really well, making it a squad-based strategy game that is definitely worth playing.

Tough one. I would probably have to say Doom. Mainly down to the mad FPS (frames per second) and frantic FPS action (first person shooter)

Nothing else has really caught my eye this year sadly. Firstly prices have gone up limiting me from buying games at launch (£20 to £50 in 6 years) and most of them have either been complete pony or just on genres I don't really like (like Deus Ex, marvellous game, bores me to tears though).

Mirror's Edge Catalyst would probably come in a close second. Great game.

I'm going to change my choice from Skyrim Special Edition to The Division.... What a game! OK it's Ubi and it has some tiny issues (stuck in cover, CTD ect ect) but they can all be forgiven for such an awesome game.

My experience of The Division was marred sadly by the bullet sponge AI. It's a shame because it was really rather pretty and I loved the game itself it was just sadly let down by being too hard.

Games were too easy, then far too difficult. As I get older and my eyes start going to crap with my reactions and balance etc the last thing I want is something that winds me up. I would rather be back at school.

They need to strike a balance, or, make Easy Easy. Otherwise you get half of a movie in a way, like you miss the whole story because they made it too hard. That's annoying, especially at fifty quid a go.

I know it's not a 2016 game, but for me Elite: Dangerous has been my 2016 life sponge, especially since the Horizons expansion.

hmmm in that case Overwatch is prob my most played. I really like how well it runs on so many PCs and it feels like it has the real backing of blizzard.

Also can be equally fun and rage inducing
