Your comment about the shipping - are you talking about to the resellers, or that actual customers are getting sent these now?
I Will be looking forward to review it on ausTech In the future, but reviews from oc3d and other people will be great too

Been shipped already...hmm...one sec...let me just say a few things. They have been shipped, 200 units, most of them going to press and review agency's. Will find out within the next 48 Hours who is going to be lucky enough to recieve them. They are still on track (apparently) for all back orders to be completed within 4 weeks. Weve had TV agencies and magazine press both asking basically "how much" to be the first to get there hands on one. This seems to be getting a bit of a circus, anyone remember the WII release..at the end of the day if the big stores or any of the resellers were expecting these then surely a guaranteed date would be floating around, the 6th June date seems to have dissapeared. Anyways it looks like we may be waiting longer as finally it looks like the OCZ press gang are finally shifting there arses. Wich obviously means that "promotion" will be there main concern, and us lowly consumers will have to wait till mass filtration. Bummer. And OCZtobias, I think the people frequenting this thread would tell you "OCZ owe me a job" or at least some free goodies, as I seem to be the only industry insider that has took time out to promote, inform and educate people about your product.

Yeah for sure - Jasters updates have been far better than anything ocz been able to provide, right up until their official things they just put up... definately slack of their part.

When it comes to the first batch, I can ensure you that most samples didn't go to press but to our resellers.

They may have gone to resellers, but unfortunately the resellers will sell them to the press...unfortunately its usually what happens...or Customers buy bulk and sell them off to Ebay....first wave of any developing technology always seems to bypass the consumer (Unless you have more money then sense)...until demand can be fulfilled...its only as of recent within the UK that we have seen products like the Wii actually sell at there RRP and not 20 % - 30 % above that. Unscrupilous, Yes, Unmoral, Yes, but its the heart of our capitalist/consumerist regime...

Honestly guys I have no Idea....no one seems to know who's gonna be getting what..I was told we were going to be notified within 48 hours that was on thursday...so by monday I'm hoping we have news...but to be quite frank I still cant see many of us getting one until the second shipment...all I can say is that were top of the list on the distributors order list...whether that is still the status quo come monday...well your guess is as good as mine

Nice review for the NIA on here....funny how I said the reviewers would be the first ones to have them....funny I wasn't proved wrong either...can't wait to get to work today...see if I can rustle a few of them up...must of recieved it saturday as the review went up yesterday...hopefully there should be some good news in my in box this morning..

Still no word, neither of the major 2 uk distis have got a clue, "Your guess is as good as ours" was the actuall response, I think i'm giving up hope of actually seeing one before middle of July, 200 Units on a world scale doesn't go far, well actually 199 seeing as the guys on here got one,

Just got word that our suppliers have just informed us that we should have stock by tomorrow...initially only 3...quoc you'll hopefully have yours by weekend if all goes well...im not sure who's next on the list...but I get priority for one ...so that leaves one more for shipping...were trying to twist the arm of our accounts manager at the distis as they only got 15 in total...but they like us and might be able to delay some of there other orders in preferance for us....fingers crossed will have something definite by the end of the day

I feel SOL here in the USA... I was one of the first on the list at Extreme PC... but my order was canceled twice due to age (after 30 days they cancel them). I just hope I am #1 or 2 on their list...
I wish I knew how many those canucks are getting...

just order with european shipping...we dont charge till goods get shipped so if u can get it elsewhere faster then u can always cancel and not worry that u have been charged...international shipping is £14.95 plus VAT..I know were not the cheapest but at least were straight talking...quoc is in the states and hes top o the list (cough cough, with a little help)....just make sure you supply a valid email and you can always reach me at stu at pcupgrade dot co dot uk...and if u leave your oc3d username on the more info I can always see about bumping u up the list...moohawhaw the power the power
