It's not the rest of the code that's the problem for me I don't think, it's the cgminer bit that won't run no matter what I type. The mine.bat file is in the cgminer folder and I have started from scratch 3 times with a new folder.

Thanks for all the help but I'm not sure why it won't recognize the 'cgminer' part like it will in your rigs :(.
 
OK, so I'm not sure what's happened but its actually working now! and I'm getting about 260kH/s pretty constantly.

I can really tell cos even on 14 intensity I'm finding it hard to navigate windows!

EDIT: Actually I'm on 18 ahah, wow this is quite intense.

Yeah mine was a little user-unfriendly at 17 :lol:
14 seems to be the sweet spot
 
Just for future reference when it says that such a program cannot be recognised it's because you need to add the program's directory to your path environment variable.
 
Thanks SPS, I'll need to remember that for if we look at any other coin mining.

I just had a quick look on scan and for 2 x R9 270 with things like a FM2 motherboard and Athlon x2 with some ram and a CX750 and it came out surprisingly cheap at around£475 and only taking around 4 months to make all the money back on it assuming the price of dogecoin doesn't change, which it surely enough will.

You can do cheaper than that you can pick up deals on a mobo+ram+a AMD sempron for around £60-70 :D
 
Literally just got into mining on the Middlecoin pool. and i'm not doing too badly. huge thanks to d3rrail for the help :D

At home at the moment but had my 780 running at uni for about 3 days 24/7 now. Its not fantastic, but about 500 kHash/s with cudaminer. Its do-able to those who say that nvidia suck at this ;p in comparison i can only seem to get my brother's 7870 tahiti to do about 350...But yes AMD outdo the green camp to another level ;) So in total i'm getting about 850 ish, which is nice for not having bought any more hardware :D

I'd certainly be interested in this. but at the same time the way that middlecoin works is pretty cool, with regards to mining the most profitable coin and then exchanging it to bitcoin. its working for me thus far ;p

Will hopefully be moving to AMD soon, want to grab 2x 280x's so i'm getting an improvement in gaming too.

But i'd be up for this. :p
 
Hmmmmm I have a 270x which basically sits in my Pc all day as I maybe game for 1/2 hours a day...

I'm on mummy's electricity while I'm still in collage so this just seems like free money, field day for anyone at uni...
 
After a bit of fiddling in Afterburner I'm sat around 220Kh/s @ 50°C on 16 intensity. Any further changes just make it drop again. Not great but better than nothing I suppose.

Edit: Just cracked 245Kh/s on 17 intensity

this is something I would be interested in, is there an in depth setup guide for a complete noob at this stuff?
 
I'm gonna have to start to really look into this ......my 7950 should hold its own quite well...

from what I've seen, figures and returns-wise......this is a long term thing, hoping for a fast turn around won't work, and if I went with this I'd need to replace my gpu cooler first. :(
 
CGminer should display info if it's running. Are you connected to a pool?

Make sure you are running it via mine.bat file with correct parameters.

Did you rename the file to mine.bat and put it into the cgminer folder, and start cgminer by running the .bat file?

The stratum3.dogehouse.org:8080 is repeated unnecessarily, and the ones with port 3336 and 3334 it says not to use on the getting started page: https://dogehouse.org/index.php?page=gettingstarted
 
Just a update for me, I'm getting 300kH/s after tweaking which is about 40kH/s more than when I started. I just wish I could get more than my max of 1450mHz memory speed, anyone know how to break the barrier?

As for the issue with the program not running, have you taken the folder out of the .zip file? I didn't and I think that's where my problems were stemming from.
