OC3D Crypto-currency Mining Pool?

HashRate: 284.4 kH/s
CpH: 86.93114626 confirmed and 91.98103853 unconfirmed.

I was still playing around with the clocks and don't think this is my optimum on my 7870 but I had it at 919 core and 1558 memory the whole hour with no problems. I could be running at 940 core and 1585 memory which gives about 395kH/s and sometimes peaks at 399kH/s.

You got all those coins in an hour with a 284kH/s? What pool port are you using?

stratum+tcp://stratum2.dogehouse.org:943

I use it over stratum3, IDK why tbh. I used it first it suppose.

Just realised I was using "stratum+tcp://stratum3.dogehouse.org:8080" which is marked as high load, and not to use.

Wow I'm bad. Lmao. Wondered why I only got 50 coins in an hour at 400kH/s LOL.

I'm pretty sure that that used to be low load, I used it last night but knew that I was getting better results on stratum2.

EDIT: Woo! Only 3 weeks behind on my wallet after a few hours :).

Yeah did fine for me last night too, I pulled 100+ an hour at times. It's high load, low difficulty now.

Haha aye that takes a while.

Sorry Edge, just had a look at my post again and I accidentally put 284.4kH/s instead of what I actually get which is 384.4kH/s. Sorry man, but I do think that you get more out of stratum2 anyway :p.

DOGEMINERS, UPDATE POST.

Most of you who are actively mining are now on the dogehouse.org pool.

When they hit 30GH/s, they are doing a fairly big giveaway of dogecoins to active workers at the time. I'd expect this could happen any time between now and early morning tomorrow.

I expected that to be honest anyway, I was a little surprised at 280kH/s with a 7870 when it's so similar to my 270x, unless you were running it intentionally slow. Still, much better coins :)

I think we need to get a team on the forum, like in the teams section with the F@H team and the OC team.

As for the community, they are some of the friendliest strangers I've met over the internet! If you don't know something they'll help and seem very tight with one another so I'm sure if anything was up with any of the sites, people would know pretty quickly what to do.

UPDATE on my mining: 100% stable for mining at 935 core clock and 1575 memory clock getting 389-393kH/s and around an average of 100 CpH.

Definitely, it's a great community, much friendlier than the BTC one. Such impressed. Wow.

Sounds great, I'm getting around the same again now :)

I would help out but I my hardware is not up to scratch for it, and also I don't think I could justify the cost of running my pc for 8 hours a day mining whilst I was at work.

If I invest in a USB Miner that can be used for this then I will probably jump on it, since they iirc don't use that much electric and produce decent rates I think.

Not really looked in to it but if someone does know of a USB Miner then please let me know as, I am sure I could either put it on my pc or stick it on a Pi.

I've had a look on scan and picked some parts for a mining rig with a 270. I have a case or milk crate, ram, hard drive and lots of fans.
AMD Sempron 145 - £26
MSI 760GM-P23 - £30
CX600 - £50
MSI Gaming/XFX R9 270 - ~£130
comes out to £247 and will pay itself in 81 days at the current price of DOGE (well the hardware I might buy will).

So far I have mined 1361.79661396 DOGE and that amounts to the small amount of $01.56878970 at current prices.

My wallet only has 2 days to catch up on now too! :)

Yeah I'm gonna go the 270 route too, probably a similar build, then add in another crossfire after it pays for one. Hopefully the value will keep rising and speed it up :)

Hey guys, wanna buy a piece of metal for $195?

Lmao.

The only reason I haven't jumped on buying the build yetis because I was intending on spending the £200 on a 360 watercooling loop for my main rig and this investment will probably push this back months. I have looked at all the calculations but I'm finding it hard to pull the trigger and say, 'Yes!'

I know and have faith that DOGE will make me my money back and bring in a profit after some time. I should probably just shut up and take the plunge but I still have little niggle that something might go wrong.

Anyway, enough of my problems, do you think the world has almost gone to shit when you see a 14 year old doing this? just thinking out loud :p.

Haha, nah, I've been researching and calculating long enough, I'm confident it will work well. Worst case scenario? I break even and use some of the power to fold instead :p

PS: Thanks to whichever mod merged the post for me. Was about to do it myself, you beat me xD

PPS, for those talented with engineering. There's gotta be a huge demand for good value frames right now for mining rigs. Recommend getting some measurements together, and start making your own to sell. I bet you'll turn a hell of a profit ;)

The funny thing is my brother could actually make a load of them frames for me.

HMMMM new money making idea, get brother to make loads of them and sell them on Ebay with a proper PSU holder etc.

Cya all when I have made a few grand LOL!!!

Ahaha  lol'ed a little when I saw this :p.

Edge, do you think I should just buy myself a 270 and put it in my current rig, while in the mean time saving up for the rest of the rig. I have all the money other than the money for the PSU :( and unfortunately not my whole family agrees that this will work so wont lend me the extra £50 I need :(.
