Im not going to pretend I play games that much, but Im looking for suggestions as to games we can set up with a community server. I know games have been pulling away from this kind of support lately so Ive not a scooby what ones can even do it *think* BBC 2 does.

Anyways fling all suggestions in here.

I can remember the fun we used to have on the CSS GunGame server with Jim/Kempez etc. Excellent fun. Would like that back.

Black Ops would come to mind as they have dedicated servers. But with most new games now you can only use trusted server providers. Unless you're going to rent a server and not use your own.

Could pick a upcoming game like black ops and see about making a OC3D clan for it. Train up on one game and win some comps, Would be good fun, Looking at the F@H seems being competitive is a pretty common thing on this forum

be even cooler if OC3D was killing some people with head shots

Black Ops has the same dedicated server system as BFBC2 did.

You'll need to buy a server from GameServers.com

Users will be charged 66p per player on unranked servers, which allow up to a maximum of 24 players, or £9.95 for a maximum of 18 players on ranked servers. Both options are currently open to preorders.

Discounts will be offered for those who pay in three, six or twelve months in advance, but extras such as Teamspeak support will incur an additional fee.

Treyarch's community manager, Josh Olin, confirmed that Treyarch-hosted dedicated servers will remain free to use.

Minecraft - that is all.

I think their website is getting DDoS'd.

It was but thats all sorted now, he also broke it again when he rolled out the survival update earlyer today (i think he's moving to a better site host and thats whats caused it to break atm)

For anyone that does play minecraft i have a Classic free build server hosted and will be setting up a survival server as soon as doors and minecarts dont crash the server randomly and actualy work online like they do offline.

Different link is the link, 20 or so player limit and usualy fairly full from like 1/2pm-10/11pm GMT

Also a TF2 server would be awsome. just run all the default maps/gametypes on a cycle and its fine.

A nice MMoRPG server would be great too. Takes a lot of work and some expertise. Like Lineage2 There are Open source in Java (L2J). Only need to configure it and a Machine =)

I Vote for Lineage2 =)

Ty all,

Ralm.

P.S.: About to buy a new machine so I couldn't try nice FPS games like BlackOps
