I can't get on the OC3D server I get an error that says "This is a server for low ping players...you must be Australian" Oh dear Is there a high ping exceptions list?

aah ye its set at 225ms...i'll have to see if there's some kind of exceptions list :s

I really think that you should turn friendly fire on.

There's so many people on this server now that just throw nades non-stop, and it's rediculous

Its not looking good as this thread is on the first page of google for "cod4 ping exceptions" :s

I'll have top up the ping limit when you're coming on and turn it back down again afterwards by the looks of things

Still no joy on getting on. I keep getting the low ping error, and according to the server browser it's a solid 360 ping. So I dunno if you bumped it enough....

Oh well I'll go and kill some bots, have fun guys

Bummer, i bumped it to 350, thought that wud be enough

Just had a fantastic game of "sabotage"??? Where you have to pick up the briefcase and plant it on the oppositions crate!!!! Fair enough it was on another server, but I only played it as I was getting a little bored of the massacre and random shooting on TDMs

It was so good. It wasn't a shoot/grenade fest as there weren't as many users on the server. Limited to 24 I think???

Anyway, it involved some strategy instead of running around and shooting randomly! Might be worth a look.

I actually set us up a sabotage server the other day, but it didnt seem very popular as nobody was joining. Maybe I'll try again, and possibly do away with all the nades and airstrikes?

Not entirely sure what you should do. Would be good to hear about what the other oc3d members say about this.

It just seems to me that a lot of people are using the oc3d server as an easy means to get lots of XP

i noticed that(but am not complaing too much because i need the points)

it all depends on if you would like a server that has people on or an empty server

maybe the gamemode should be changed once a week

Jim - Patch 1.3 is out, I downloaded it today but the oc3d server has disappeared completely. I presume this is because the server is still running on an old patch?

It says the server exists in my favourites too, but I can't see it
