OC3D COD4 Server Live

Jim - Patch 1.3 is out, I downloaded it today but the oc3d server has disappeared completely. I presume this is because the server is still running on an old patch?

It says the server exists in my favourites too, but I can't see it

Worked fine for me although my ping in there is 70ms where as in other games to uk servers I get around 15ms.

Shouldnt be kicking mate, PB isn't even installed on the main server atm

Its too early to upgrade mate. The patch was only released today and the mirrors are all crap slow

Have you tried GamersHell?, I got my patch from there and got full speed.

I've only just noticed the oc3d Sabotage server (thanks Jim).

Started playing it, killed somebody, then got kicked from the server. I guessed it was due to punkbuster not updating itself after the 1.4 patch, so I updated PB.

I then try to join the server again, and it says I'm temporarily banned

No idea mate :S As i said earlier we don't have PB installed on either servers :s

Can I recommend we split it into two? Two servers of 24?

Too many people with too many nades, means you cannot move from the spot you start.

Just a suggestion, I will still admin the server.. maybe not play it so much!

Personally and I think I speak for alot of the regulars who visit that server we like the myehm style of play. I know it isnt suited to all but some of us do like it. Since that server very rarely drops below 40 players even early hours in the morning I think it would be a bad move to lower the amount of players.

Perhaps use server 2 as a 24 man server as that one does get less populated. Just my thoughts.

p.s. it was good to see some admins on the server
