As I am sure you are aware, there has been a severe lack of activity in the clan department recently. I'm afraid I have to take a large amount of blame for this, as without a clan leader, not much gets done.
If you want an update on my current pc status, im awaiting an rma, and wont be back for a while. Even when I am, I won't be playing for a while after that.
Well also as you may have heard recently, Ins decided to leave the clan to join Snipers Alley. He is however goign to remain part of the pcw squad, and is willing to train us when possible, so we want to keep him aboard.
It is also my pleasure to welcome Scriv to the clan. He has been recruited as he plays on our server a lot and has proven his talents to the team. I personally haven't spoken to him yet, but am told he is a great guy and will be a welcome addition to the team.
You will also notice that we don't have a website at this moment in time. After the split from S?U we never got around to updating again. Currently, I am devloping and coding a content management system with Ramedge from the hexus counterstrike team to use as their website. It is being coded specifically for clans, and when it is finished, I will design a new frontpage and implement it as our SX Gaming website. Again I apologise for not doign anything about this sooner.
The passwords for both the match server and teamspeak server have changed. This is because we had a few idlers in our TS channel, and other clans who got hold of the password were using out server at will. Please PM me or another clan member for the new password.
Well, moving on to the near future, I have organised some clan activities for this Sunday evening. Mainly just to keep everybody playing together and to assure you that we are moving in the right direction.
At 8PM all clan member must be available on MSN and teamspeak for a training session. Chris (Ins) has assured us he will be available to take members through either existing maps or a new map (possibly prodigy). I really want everybody to be there.
After this training session, at 9PM, there will be a PCW against GODII Clan. It is intitially one map, which will be (predictably) dust2. If we have time afterwards, GOD have agreed to play one more map, which will be prodigy, hence the reason I want you to go through it. The team for this match (hoping that more than 5 can attend the training session) will be chosen by Jim (XMS) on the night. Unless you turn up, you never know. Please post availablilty for both of these events in this thread.
Finally, I would like to again apologise for the recent absence of activity in the clan, but I hope you can see that things are moving forward. If you have any questions or queries, please dont hesitate to contact me, or Jim.
