Wow just read the thread and what stupid 'marketing' move by Enermax. They obviously didn't think about the enthusiasts who use these forums.

Superb of Tagan to step in and offer an alternative prize.

All I can say is

Enermax 0 = Tagan 1

Awesome job Tagan, great way to really earn those good rep points. Certainly got a few from me... that is one heck of a PSU to give away when y'all were under no obligation whatsoever to do so.

It is bad enough the local UK Enermax group did this, but the USA side of the company couldn't be bothered to play damage control on this pretty much is a strike 2. They are already out of my book :nono:

Well, I thought I'd finally stop being lazy and join, as I (was) the winner of the Enermax PSU, and was very disappointed when I realized even though Enermax themselves had a central office in the U.S., they refused to follow through on their contractual agreement, written or otherwise, to Kempez and whoever else set up this competition.

Very disappointing, Enermax. I thought maybe your PR would coincide with the generally high quality of your products.

But, Tagan, a company I always liked (really, not ass-kissing here ) came through with a great PSU for me. I knew I wasn't going to be let down after Enermax shot themselves in the foot, but I wasn't expecting a 1kW PSU upgrade.

I'm actually not at home right now. I've been in Oklahoma since the 16th of this month, but I'll be back on the 31st or so, and my dad did call me a couple days ago to tell me the PSU arrived.
