To All,

There has been an unfortunate turn of events regarding this competition that we feel you all need to be made aware of in order for us to protect our name as a trustworthy and reputable website.

Enermax UK - providers of the Infiniti 650w Power supply prize have withdrawn from the competition, leaving our USA based winner without a prize. Enermax have informed us that this is due to the winner not being based in the UK despite not making any delivery terms clear prior to the competition. Our efforts to resolve this issue with Enermax have proved fruitless, and despite Enermax having headquarters in the USA, they are not prepared to provide the winner with his promised prize.

We certainly do not want the winner to go away empty handed, and are currently trying to make arrangements for an alternative prize. Rest assured the winner will not go empty handed.

In addition to this, it is with regret that I need to inform you that we are withdrawing the Enermax Support forums from Overclock3D for the foreseeable future.

:/ thats a bit of a bummer, i mean come on its not as if there a soley UK based company.

Well done on OC3D's part for going out of your way to make sure the person still gets something.

Hope you can pull out something really special for them!

It's actually pretty sad and has put a dampener on myself and XMS's spirits a bit.

Let's hope we can get the prizewinner something in it's stead shall we? :)

That`s a poor response from them tbh.

I mean even if they did have an issue cos of a missunderstanding about which global areas they can be seen as supplying, there`s always room for some kind of effort to satisfy it.

Personally I would have been on the phone to my US colleges, explained the situ, and had them pick up the batton.

I don`t see a problem with that myself, other than poor internal communication.

Just like OC3D to pick up the pieces tho ;)

Maybe we should threaten to put the story up on Digg. I don't mean to sound overly aggressive but for the winner it is a huge deal and will make an insignificant difference to Enermax. Very disappointing.

Personally I found it a very poor show considering other companies such as SpecialTech managed to ship prizes out to winners.

It was a bit narrow minded in my opinion for Enermax to think that it would only be UK entrants, or that we would restrict the winner selection to UK only

enermax sucks this just proves it more:p

that is an extremely bad excuse by enermax tbh.

hope the guys gets sorted and everything goes well.

Raging.

Welll.. tbh, I can understand an arguement I think they could have, internally of course, recognizing their governing of issuing/supporting..

BUT, either way, the arguement is a bit weak and without compremize.

Yes exactly - in regards to ST.

All I can say is Wow! Poor form tbh. Leaving OC3D to pick up the pieces of what should have been a pleasant process...quite embarrassing really :(

It's a poor show tbh. How much does it cost to ship to the USA? And if the US side of enermax wouldn't want to support the product then I'm sure the winner wouldn't mind having to RMA (if that situation came about) it back to blighty.

I didn't think there tech was that responsive on the forum anyway, this proves my idea correct that Enermax isn't very nice (like ST for instance).

Never buying their PSU. :wavey:

Good job to Kemp and XMS settling this.

Damn, that's too bad...:( poor tbh...:( I can't understand why Enermax couldn't make some efforts and have their PSU sent to the states...

Anyway, don't worry tbh!!! I'm sure you won't be left without a prize!!!

WISH YOU ALL THe BEST!!! :D

Poor, Very poor! What has enermax said about this? Suprised they have not said anything in responce to this issue?

From my point of view, their OUT OF THE GAME (forever??? At least for me... )

When ever I need a new psu, I willl keep Enermax out of the picture. I also dugg it... Thats just dumb imo...

Damn that sucks... for the winner AND them. Their rep will be hurt badly, as it should be after what they've done. :(
