OC3D Article: Asus EN9800GTX performance preview and pictures.

I'm not really impressed. It only just beats the gts/gt/88gtx...

I'll wait for the games tests but i'm thinking it will oc like a beast and then maybe pull away from the other cards... £200 it's cheap but... It just doesn't rock my sox off.

Indeed, answers including the requirement for the extra 6pin power connector over the cards it`s barely better than.

More like from £210 to £250 looking at a few online etailers in the uk. :wavey:

Yup I got an email from specialtech a min ago and its pretty steep compared to the US...

My SLi'ed 8800GTS 512 ain't going nowhere until there's a revolution in the GFX-card market. Waiting for the G100 to make it's appearance, and see what it can do. Still, no point in upgrading to the 9-series, unless you're going from 7 or below.

I'm going in clean so I'm looking forwards to this review, the 8800GTX and 9800GTX I want are both the same price and I'm yet unsure which to go for. The 9800 seems to have the edge in most other reviews, but the GTX is the XFX XXX version so its probably just as good :S

From what I've seen so far you're not wrong.. Expect some massively high overclocks I reckon.
