I got this game yesterday, and was hoping to put a proper review here, but i'm just speechless!

This is truly a next generation game. Remember when you got Far Cry? This takes things to the next level, it's huge and seamless and achingly beautiful.

I've never been a huge rpg fan, it's often just too complicated to be fun, but this is fantastic. You go at your own pace and do whatever you want, and there is a LOT to do (there's around 300 hours worth).

There are already plenty of reviews out there, so I won't duplicate them, but if you have decent PC don't even hesitate to get this. Just make sure you have at least a couple of days free after you've installed it..

I got a glimpse of it yesterday at my friend's house (finishing his w/c q-pack) and it looks pretty nice. It's actually first-person and definately more realistic (you don't get mad slashing power ) Though there is the stupid thing about fighting rats at the beginning.

What type of system do you have? Im having a hard time running it @1900x1000 with a 6800nu with no AA

I ran this game last night with HDR enabled (thus no HDR: the game wont run with both). My frames were about double what they were without HDR and with just AA enabled: I had vsych enabled so they sat @ 60FPS almost the entire time.

Now all I gotta do is figure out how to beat this dude in the Tower in Kvatch

Hmm, i cant decide whether to run AA or HDR. The smoothness or the lovely lighting... Although my card also seems to handle HDR a bit better, AA at X4 is still perfectly playable.

Well theres a nice long list of scalable options nick, so if your running on a X1800 or 7900GT (ive seen you mention both, cant remember wich one you acctualy got/getting) you should be able to run it fairly high settings.

i run it at 1024X768 as its the best this worthless monitor can manage. Ive found a good compromise of medium - high settings wich give me 35-70FPS normaly. It will run well on the aformentioned cards, but has enough scalable options for you to find a sweet spot between good frames and image quality.

Add: Also its worth noting the game wont let you enable HDR and AA together....yet.
