O2 finally rolled out 4G in my area

QuietOne

always shouting
This evening I received various settings from O2 which I installed and rebooted my S4 and now shows 4G instead of HSPA+

Anyone who is already on 4G, are there any major differences on 4G?

It's quicker. That's it. And you'll burn through your data allowance a lot quicker too.

For me, the extra fiver for extra speed wasn't worth it, I already pay an extra fiver for an extra gig of data so I dropped back down to 3g. Plus, the only places nearby to me where I could actually get a decent 4G signal have plenty of free wifi.

When I'm in London I can get up to 50mb on 4G, not bad at all. Sadly it's not where I live yet but on it's way.

Do you need a special SIM for 4G or did it just become active on your normal Micro-SIM? I wonder when us Three customers will get it.

if your phone is compatible with 4g then when three turn on 4g you will get upgraded.

i remember when Vodafone and o2 made a deal to share masts, did that ever come to pass?
