NZXT releases new high-performance Air Cooler

There are some reviews on it already, but they seem to have quite inconsistent results :/ It didn't beat the D14 in any of the reviews however, it beat the C14 in one review, and lost to the C14 in another review..

Meh, guess we will have to wait for someone reliable to test it... (Tom?

You just can't expect it to beat the NH-D14. At all. For a start, it is tiny IN COMPARISON to the D14 and it's around £20 cheaper.

Most reviews are pretty good, i am happy with my Havik 140.

It's cooling my 990X @ 4.53Ghz at temps of 60-62 and at one stage it went to 65 for a couple of seconds, in the hour of prime95 and some LinX testing

Sorry to raise this thread from the dead but I literally just found out about this cooler

I would love to see Tom review this as, as redgyk pointed out, the reviews are all over the place. I've seen some where it bests the NH D14, some where it's neck and neck with NH D14 and some where the NH D14 bests it. It's the same story with noise levels as well, with some people hailing it as silent and others claiming it's noisy.

Definitely a mystery I'd love to see figured out on OC3D's test bench

It's not that Tom wont review it, it's because NZXT wont give him one to review, they are still upset over the H2 review

Couple of people on here have the Havik though, one member, StreetG, I think that's his name can't quite remember has one cooling his 990X at 4.5ghz.

you'd think that would make them more eager to impress him with their next product! Can't very well improve a business by stubbornly refusing to accept you need improvement!

Yep my Havik 140 is cooling my 990X, currently its been running at 4.51ghz for a while now and its doing fine, on stress tests the highest temp i saw my CPU get to was 65 degrees on one core, it didn't last long though it hung on around 63-64 most of the time.
