Looks really nice, especially in that 810, just curious though, what rad do you have up in the top there?

I have a Hardware Labs Black Ice 360mm GTX radiator in the roof, it was purchased second hand from a friend but i am very happy with it.

I believe the radiator is 54mm think and theres still room for another set of gentle typhoons underneath to run push/pull.

Gorgeous, gorgeous build. I love that raspberry dye. Dealing with the Switch so much I am on the verge of making the jump to liquid.

Ultra tidy. This is one hell of a case

Thanks for the comments guys due to an issue with the reservoir im currently in the process of rebuilding , pretty much from scratch. Will update again when its about to happen , for now the kits in a very boring case and air cooled with a stock cooler

It's a shame that hard work had to be ruined, but I guess it will be that bit more tidier after the rebuild

what happened???

basically boils down to the free reservoir I was using was damaged in a way I couldnt see and during my leak test didnt show either. After a few days I was taking out dust filters and checking things were fine and found a few drops of fluid, on closer inspection saw there was a small leak. Nothing was damaged except the reservoir but did mean I had to drain the system, this being my first time doing this I wanted to be as sure as I could be of doing this without damaging components. Anyways system is fine but decided I need a new reservoir and want angled fittings as I felt it was straining the connections too much.

Boils down to me not having the money to fix the issues I had, ended up selling a few parts and swopping some around. Will 100% be watercooling again but am currently waiting on NZXT to help me with an issue with the case (door latch) and getting the money together for some new parts (most of the parts I used were 2nd hand) after the scare with the reservoir I decided I would prefer to use new parts and wait to do it exactly how I want to.

me like

Unlucky about the res
sad.gif
but at least you can start over and have fun doing it all over
biggrin.gif

I've been waiting 6 days for my res to turn up and I have a feeling it's been lost in the post
wink.gif
I hate it when Ebay sellers don't offer next day delivery and only offer 4-6 days. I would have got it from ST but they wont have the res I want in stock till the end of next week.

Well ive actually changed quite a few things , its going to be very different this time. So will take more time, but im prepared to be more patient this time.

are there special provisions on say group purchases on products or product lines from OC3D members?

the online sellers seem to have what we want, price close to what we can give and it recycles the

left-overs, where the retail market is loosing share sales to the 2nd-hand merchants. overhead! overhead!

if enough pre-orders are made the vendor can "discount" plus a better order can be made for a lower price.

albeit, its hard to predict what someone will need, but future build-up can be stock-piled until needed.

i dont need a 360 rad right now, but if a "deal" is to be had, id buy it now and use it later and feel

better on the equipment cost.

I really do like your build, especially with such a case as the Switch 810 though I really do wish NZXT would make a upgraded MATX or Mid-tower case as I really am into more small form factors, especially since their Vulcan is good in some respects except not having the room to fit decent CPU heatsinks or even a radiator setup on the double 120mm fans found at the top. I also do like the name, it did make me think of the song by Pink Floyd though which is undoubtedly a grand song by a grand artist.
