Nvidia's stock price falls 10% overnight as analysts re-access the company

alien with what you were on about with bad blood between nvidia and intel isnt it from intel having to pay nvidia for patent protection, i think thats what its called, but basic thing was nvidia havnt been in intel chips at all, intel simply had to pay nvidia so nvidia wouldnt take them to court because architecture might be close.

You'd be pretty surprised that's not entirely true. Most of the best leaks comes from the stock guys with the most inside information.

Most leaks are bogus or way off the mark.

Financial analysts know very little about the technical aspects of a companies products. There are far too many companies for them to even try to do this.

Yes it might be rare for single company to go up and down share price of more than 10% but it's not rare across the stock market. My shares that I hold in a company literally did what I just mentioned last week.

Ok but what exactly happened? An event is needed for a stock price to radically change that much. It's not a typical day trade. That's when something big happens with the company. I don't own shares(almost bought over a 1000 shares of AMD though back a couple years ago was the closest I got to owning) but I follow a lot of the tech stock closely. None jump that much. Except when something like this happens to a company. But even then, 10% is a very large drop/jump for even a reevaluation of a company.

Most of there leaks and or articles on future tech is pretty dang accurate. They aren't mindless idiots. They don't focus every company. You have certain people focus certain stocks. No one does everything unless you are like JPMorgan but that's an entirely different aspect of stock.

For now is for any company.
Thing is, Nvidia are leading in EVERY market they are in. It'll be a long long time.

Yeah their tablets and consoles are just leading the world right now....

They are not in the console business. They make streaming "consoles" in the form of SteamOS builds, but those are still PCs.
Tablets they still make money from. So not to bad. That's there worst market. And making a profit. Thats all with a very old tablet.

I think you need to relax with the Nvidia will die soon thing you've got goin on past couple days. I hate them as much as they next guy, but they are far far from dead. Your best attempt at saying otherwise just proves the point that even in there worst market they make profit.

Isn't Nvidia being used in the new Nintendo console?

They are? Oh don't recall that. The switch? Sounds familiar thinking about it. They will probably make loads of money. Nintendo sells hardware pretty good, software never comes through. As long as they make profit they don't care.

So what is Shield then?

I'm not goin' on and I'm perfectly relaxed dude. I just think going into the future they need more than they have.

That's all.

Don't think so.

Go and ask any of these analysts about Vega or the GTX 1080 Ti if they are so accurate. All we have had about these two cards is 6 months of total garbage as far as information goes, no accuracy at all.

Perhaps one of these analysts can tell us how many Cuda cores the 1080 Ti is supposed to have as it is due for launch very soon.

Yes I agree it's down to news, but Nvidia isn't just sat dormant at the minute with the launch of the Switch right around the corner.

You act like I said they are never wrong. They are more accurate and usually earlier. They also can better analyze uses of technology and how it affects aspects of the industry and applications for it. It's a more thorough analysis.
In addition, you ever read anything on it? Doubtful.
Yes, I'll ask about a card that nvidia isn't talking about to anyone outside the company. In addition I'll just poke AMD about Vega when it isn't outside a testing phase...
