Looks like EK have been listening after all - NO STUPID CIRCLES!

so like , wheres the TTL review , was hoping it would go up when the NDA lifted ?

Hes been quiet for a few days, probably sulking because nvidia didnt send him one... Shame cos his reviews are really the only ones I take any notice of...

Have to say I am disappointed with the performance from this card, considering the price of it.

Granted it performs around 30% to 50% better than a GTX 680 or 7970 from the reviews I have seen, but they just do not justify the insanely high price.

I will just be sticking to my GTX 680 SLI setup and watercool them, then OC them and see what the Nvidia 7 series and AMD 8 series are like.

Going by the reviews I'd say it isn't worth getting, bit like that recent 7990 that TTL reviewed. That isn't to say I'd say no if one dropped in my lap but that would never happen.
Too expensive for the performance it gives. If this is what the 780 will look like in numbers and price stays about the same as the 680 then it would be a hell of a lot more interesting.

seriously guys judging something like this on release day... give, the god damn drivers... a chance.

Also they're already boost clocking themselves to 1.1Ghz, I'm really looking forward to seeing what it'l auto boost to under water :) I'm crossing my fingers for something more like 1.5Ghz~1.75Ghz~2Ghz. I think they'll be fun cards. I'll definitely pick one up with water at some point.

Not to sound negative, erm, even though I am lol, are we sure drivers will give the significant boost people are hoping for? Considering the that Titan shares a similar core architecture to the 680's, but scaled up, I wonder what additional efficiencies they'll find, other than the usual profile tweaks.

Since launch, the 680/670 Keplar drivers haven't yielded much additional performance overall, though the 310's bumped image quality up a fair bit on my 570's. AMD on the other hand appear to have found a chunk of extra performance, though some suggest at the cost of stability.

Regardless I think there WILL be further improvement as the drivers mature. However, consider that the performance "guestimates" that used the number of up-scaled cores etc. to base their projected performance increase over a 680 on, were pretty much on the money. This suggests that any general improvements to Titan will also bring gains to the "lesser" Keplars such as the 670 and 680. Not a bad thing at all, but it doesn't increase Titans lead over its siblings.

I look forward to seeing how things develop.

Scoob.

Guys can you imagine one like this in little SM5 with mATX board and some IB-E.
One XSPC new AX360mm black rad can finish job for CPU/GPU and XSPC D5 Dual Bay Reservoir/Pump Combo Black.
Single cards are best, always.

Oh I want that. I would seriously consider getting one of these in exchange for my 680 sli config IF the performance was worth it. Somehow I don't think it will with the base card costing a small fortune before you add the EVGA price for the additional water block.

Loving the new thermal management, lets hope we see this intergrated in to next years 7xx series cards..

Shame I had to learn about all of this from that squeeky voiced american muppet linus... :(

Where the -snip- is Tom when you need him ??

Toms reviews are more in depth and thus will take more time to make. Be patient it will be worth it as you will get all the details about the card no matter how small.
