am i the only one who thinks that this card does not look good? it looks to reference-y. i really don't like that sort of cooler. let's hope there will be some nice non reference coolers.

I do think it looks good.
Don't want it to be like the 690 though where they limit aftermarket options because that just won't be fun.

I can kind of see them doing that though for such a prestige product, after they've put so much effort into the design of their cooler.

effort? A flat heatsink, no heatpipes (which i don't mind actually) and a fan ? forgive me but it's not exactly what I'd call revolutionary is it? Waterblock or go home for me

i think they already stated that they'd do it that way. at least they said that they don't want the manufactures to alter the pcb at all. i hope there will be a waterblock.

well if the rumours true its using the 680gtx reference pcb just enhanced..

so a gk or even koolance full cover block should fit it will find out once a proper review comes out still it looks damn sexy...

100% linus HINTED at that, but as is everything with the rumour mill at the minute, it could be anything. NDA means just that, if anyone breaches that, jokingly or otherwise they won't be approached again. I have a feeling Linus' hints were to have the same effect, more views and rumours. Don't get me wrong he really was hinting that way and it easily could be. But it just as easily might not be.

If I could afford it, I'd most likely be water cooling it. I don't like the cooling unit either.

I like the looks of it, however I would still watercool it.

I am still hoping though that Nvidia are going to make more than 10,000 of them because that number is far to low considering they could sell all of, them in America alone never mind the rest of the world.

I have to also think that it won't cost more than £600 simply because why price a card higher than 2 lower end cards, that when ran in SLI could potentially outperform it.

Still want 2 of them in SLI, at the moment but until reviews and pricing are revealed it's just still based on rumours.

on rumours i have seen a price around 1000 euros. and yeah i know what you mean about wanting more than one. id struggle to sli that efficiently though i think if iwas going to go down that route id have to tun it singularly or go for a dual core card, as the care looks a little wider than normal and as far as im aware the other ports available are half the speed (maximus V extreme) am i wrong?
