NVIDIA GeForce Kepler Roadmap Compiled

Looks like the wait for the 570/580 equivalent Nvidia 28nm cards is a long way off, although if performance rumors are true then the early models should be more powerful than them anyway.

The first GPU in NVIDIA's pipeline is the GeForce Kepler 107 (GK107), on which will be based entry thru lower-mainstream SKUs. The data doesn't reveal things like core counts, but points out that GK107 will have a 128-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface, will use the current-generation PCI-Express 2.0 bus, will be built on the 28 nm process, and will support DirectX 11.1. This will be followed by the GK106, on which "sweet-spot" SKUs could be based. This will be NVIDIA's first PCI-Express 3.0 compliant GPU, it will have a 256-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface.

there pushing for a windows 8 dx11.1 and pci gen 3 collab

the correct move if you ask me, should give me some time to save as im happy with my 570 and will be for sometime.

Im gonna have to score something to get me up and running cos i cant wait that long for flip sake. Ive already waited 2 years im not gonna wait another

just goes to show ya waiting for new stuff is a waste of time IMHO. seems everything these days gets delayed or put off for one reason or another

Keplar looks great, though I'm not gettin' the 6XX because it's DX11 and my budget. FERMI will do alot more future games fine I think, because of optimisation, we wait a little to get that and that's rewarding. Like with Crysis and Metro 2033, When released they ran like erm rubbishy and we needed quad SLI or stupid rigs at risky OC's to get it running properly (still dont run properly CRASH) and today they're optimised, 2 way FERMI SLI runs them well, we might get the same with Keplar and Meto LAST LIGHT. Crysis looks better and runs alot better today. So DX12 is what I should wait for to upgrade and follows next gen' console trends so games shouldn't be such crude ports to PC. TY

With BF3 & Witcher 2 and not much spare time I might not buy another DX11 gamefor erm 12 months, but !

Hmmm.... wait for a GK104/670 or grab a second 560Ti... Depends if these new "565Ti's" (560Ti with the 570 architecture) play ball with the older ones in SLI.

Anyone know?

At first I thought this was awful, but now I just realise that it will just be More time to save up for more cards!

Truth be told there doing it slowly as to not pull an AMD

if you remember correctly though, amd releases there cards a few months sooner ever year so there actually the same time gap between both companies. However to spite the roadmap nvidia is famous for releasing a high end card at PAX which is useally march 24-25 and so on. so i guess will see
