I was just sent a 6800GT PCIe...tried it on straight away.

When BIOS starts up ... i seem to get these mad lines and colored boxes (artifacts) which indicates that there is something definetly wrong.(straigh!as soon as I power up the PC)

I thought that it might be the screen but for sure it isnt because I tried to load up windows and the computer crashes in the middle of the load up proccess.

I have searched for incompatibility issues but i found none

I have played arround with BIOS settings...no results though.

The funny thing is that all of a sadden it worked once, got into windows, and then the whole system crashed 10 minutes later. Rebooted and...back to the old deformed screen.

My set up is :

AMD 3500+ 64bit

ASrock 939dual SATA2

NVidia GeForce 6800 GT PCIe

TAKE a look at the picture attachment to see exactly what my problem is.

if the jpg is not visible for some reason please follow this link :

Thanx in advance

My three guesses would either be;

1. The card isnt in properly.

2. The drivers from the previous card weren't deleted correctly or just weren't deleted at all.

3. The card itself is broken.

Still, those are guesses. I'm not absolutely sure as to what your problem could be.
