NV7800 vs DD Peltier waterblocks

I would guess that the NV is a full card block, and that is why it is so much more expensive.

Same - it covers the memory chips aswell...

...but you can run those little OCZ/ new Swiftech heatsinks on the memory with the peltier blocks :)

Manufacturers links?

Any more info?

Sorry Mav, the ones on the EP site.

I don't really think memory cooling is tat nessesary, but which one would cool better, the 80W peltier block or the huge NV? Or are there better water blocks on EP?

It depends what you want - the NV blocks do everything at once and they look funky - but the peltier block will allow a better core temp plus any residual heat will not transfer to the memory or vice versa.

I think that air cooling the memory is as far as you need to go, applying heatsinks helps with stability when overclocking - I don't believe that there is a huge improvement in trying to cool the memory much further.

I would go the pelt route, it costs less money, is more upgradeable, gives you better GPU temps and most likely wont cost you anything on overclocking the memory.
