Number crunching machine

A client wants a PC build for scientific calculations on a program called Europarl v6 which analyses and translates lots of languages etc.

He wants it to run on Ubuntu 10.* and apparently it needs very high floating point performance and file sizes can get quite large.

Now we were thinking about fitting a CUDA enabled GPU (Quatro or something - Tesla is too expensive) and a decent amount of fast RAM - 16gb or something.

What you reckon for £1200? It prefers cores > speed in terms of performance due to being a very multithreaded program.

There is only 1 option..

But on a serious note a/some xeons would be a good choice and the most expensive quadro/tesla you can get
