Time to introduce myself =)
After over a year of reading here ( forums and articles ) I brought myself to sign up.
My first act was contributing to Redline@OC3D-Team BTW
Ok, a few words about me.
First of all - you can call me Andy. I live in Austria ( homeland of Noctua ) and study
Electronic Data Processing and Organisation ( Programming, Project Development and so on ).
My other interests are quite technical too. Programming again ( other things than I learn ),
networking and design/photography.
As native german-speaker my english isn't the best on earth. I reached BEC Vantage ( B2 )
last year. Ok, but improvable. It would be great, if you correct me when I make mistakes
except of typos.
Among studying I work in a datacenter, executing administrative tasks. Installing F@H on
these servers would be perfect, but I don't think the other admins would be happy about that.
According to my school and job, almost all of the money that's left over after the end of the
month flows into technical devices. Unfortunately my salary isn't mind-blowing and after
abstracting money for food, rent and my girlfriend, this part is quite... call it 'small'.
Just a short overview of my current PCs:
Currently my Macs are the only Computer I have access to, the MAXDATA, Sony, HPs and my
custom one *grmbl* are far, far away... f***ing criminal investigation department.
This is the reason, why they aren't detailed listed above.
Somwhere I should have two Sony notebooks, but these are even too old for Solitaire
The next investments will be something for my custom build. Maybe a BigTower ( CooMas Cosmos,
NZXT Phantom ) or 6/12GB RAM. Or a freakin' 275/285MB/s SSD for my MacBook... who knows
Gaming is indeed another hobby of mine. Favourite games are CoD4, TF:2, WoW, GH:III, QuakeLive
and UrbanTerror.
