Notification system?

Hello everyone,

Don't know how difficult or easy it would be to implement some sort of notification system, for things like messages and replies to post etc.. but would be a nice addition I think to the forum, a system similar to Facebook and Twitter etc..

There is a notification system, for messages at least. You can subscribe to threads and I think you get emails when people reply but not sure if you get a forum notification.

s'already there, you can turn email notifications on for messages, threads you subscribe to etc. Also you get a notification on the site when you login and have a new unread pm

Yup, just sub to a thread and you'll get an email when someone one replies. It won't spam though, like say 13 people reply since you looked at the thread you'll just get 1 email saying such a person replied to a thread you subscribed to

edit: because I've wrote in this thread I'll get an email as soon as someone replies.

You don't need to reply to get them Just click "Thread Tools>Subscribe to this thread"

Haha Indeed I do need to be more active, and reading isn't one of my strong points I easily get lost

Xda has a system that shows you when you've been quoted or replied to a thread you've made, it is rather useful.
