I thought your post said whats a good budget for a keyboard and mouse. derp.

erm. Say 100 for both? or is that too much?

I have had 2 wireless mice. Microsoft X8 and Logitech G700 with no issues with the wireless at all.

yh sorry my last comment wasnt very clear :o
yh 100 sounds okay :)
can you recommend a good keyboard and mouse for that price range?

Might seem a little over the top but... A full mechanic keyboard - Depends on your choice of switch or if you are even bother about it. A Microsoft X4 rubber-dome is good enough for some gamers.

QuickFire Pro Mx Red

G400 - Replaced the iconic MX518.

Mouse wise are you palm or finger tip grip?

I believe Logitech G5/MX518 is still considered some of the damn best mouses. You dont need no fancy up-to-date overpriced Razer mouse, imo. Theres also a G500, I believe thats the latest version of the mouse.

Regarding keyboard theres alot of choices. Do you want macro keys, backlit etc... You could go for a Logitech G510 (or G110 if you dont want the LCD-screen).

I had my G15 for years, still works perfectly, just recently replaced it with Thermaltakes' series.

Products... (couldnt find G5 mouse, I dont believe theyre being produced anymore)

MX518:

G110:

And heres the Thermaltakes, as a bonus:

I love my Corsair M60 - a great mouse. Fully recommend it.
But yeah, a peripherals section you say? Pfft. Worthless idea, that one. Who'd ever use that

im a fingertip gripper andrew.
forgive my ignorance Juusuhako but what are macro keys?

i know i dont know why i even suggested it

Its a key you press, whereas it will execute the buttons you assigned to it. It is commonly used in MMOs, so that rather than spamming through 1-9 to use abillities/spells, you can simply click a macro key and it will do the whole rotation automatically.

For instance, you could assign the alphabet to a macro key, and when you then pressed it, it would automatically write it for you, if you would ever need that. :p

ah right i can see why that would be useful. but im not an MMO gamer so i personally wouldnt have a use for them

I use the M60's buttons to go back and forth on web pages, but also bind them to melee attacks for FPS games and whatnot.
I once set it up to enter my email and password into things, but it was just a tad too risky for my liking :p

And I didnt use them either when I played WoW for the years that I did. So I doubt you'd ever use 'em. ;)
I stand by my previous mentions: G510/G110 keyboard with a G500 mouse.

i use the web page function on my laptop mouse and it is alot easier :)

thanks mate i appreciate the help advice :)
