Unfortunately my z68-ud4-b3 has died and needs to be replaced. Now I really dont know what to go for so feel free to tempt me with anything. I want to continue to use my 2500k so I was thinking of perhaps a z77 chipset.

The Z77A-GD65 Z77 has caught my eye for its price and its performance.

What do you guys think?

Nope, not really. I'd argue that the MSI Z77 MPower board may be better for overclocking, just because it's individually tested in heat chambers and whatnot. But MSI are the king of this chipset, for me. For the features their boards provide, for the price point, it's pretty god damn amazing. Anything from the Z77A G45 onwards is a great choice.

Looks good to me. Gonna look up the differences in a bit. Cheers guys. You are always the best.

On a different note I think overclock3d should do a lan party so I can meet some of you guys in person and buy you all a drink or a pizza.

A good friend of mine (who does know a little about computers) is telling me to go asus. Do they have anything to bring to the party.

They're ok...but MSI's better. For the price, overclockability and features, MSI comes out trumps. Also, Asus' customer service is lacking, especially in the UK. RMAs are, apparently, a right pain in the arse.

Ok cheers guys. You are amazing, and Josh, if I see you in the sugar hut....... I will buy you a drink after I find out wtf I am doing there lol.
