Ah DURR!! Sorry... Miles away.

But 3.9Ghz @ 1.35v is sweet, I'm sure with around 1.425-450 you'd be pretty safe with 4.0Ghz.

The Scythe is a great cooler. I used to have a Scythe Mugen 2. Don't really know why I sold it.

Make sure the cpu/nb voltage matches the vcore voltage. That's how I got my O/C, though your 955 is much better than my 940.

I wouldn't be able to use mine at 3.9 24/7. If you like it like that then leave it like it is...

He stopped posting a while back dude. There were too many aguments between him and other members and he didnt take very kindly to me asking him to chill out all the time.

OC3D is like a family and we all need to get along, I cant be here all the time to baby sit and sort out stupid quarals.

It's funny some times how people automatically come up with answers they weren't asked the questions to.

I will, however, answer those questions.

I stopped posting here because the place was being over run by morons with either little to contribute or just plain false information. How does the saying go? "I'm not antisocial, just anti stupid".

Thankfully my memory works rather well. If I remember correctly I was being harassed by some 'hoo har' redneck with a typical American 'tude saying how he isn't going to let any one have anal intercourse with him no matter how wrong. Thus when asked to shut his pie hole he did the opposite. Not wanting to continue with the banter, quote -

Never try to argue or reason with an idiot on the internet, they will simply drag you down to their level and beat you with experience

I then did as asked by you and reported the posts where he was mouthing off and continuing to take pops at me. You then copped the nark and issued a warning to me for doing what you asked me to do.

Thus, it comes as no surprise (coupled with the chavvo competition thread) that I decided to stop bothering to post here. I think it was rather fair. I also thought it wasn't necessary to continue to argue with you about it as I was beginning to feel like head-wall-head-wall.

I understand your frustration at feeling like you have to babysit here. I will completely admit that this forum most definitely needs it !. What it doesn't need, however, is standout members who spend their life and their own money (whilst not wanting anything in return neither financially or to be took aboard the 'gravy train of parts') being tarred with the same brush as a moronic retard with an attitude problem.

Don't get me wrong Tom I think you are a great guy and I have plenty of time for you (as I have showed) but sometimes the best approach is to take things into consideration and then deal with a situation as best. Not to start 'babysitting' 38 year old men and making them feel like your children.

Any way, I'm off as from what I hear since the compo it hasn't really gotten any better.

Fish and taters.

Aww c'mon, mate, you're awesome and you're a big chunk of what makes up OC3D forums - always fantastic, interesting to read and fun threads (such as this one). Leaving this community over total bull-crap like this is totally unacceptable! I don't mean to act like a Ghandi here but both you and Tom are great although (like everybody else) you have your bad sides. For instance it's easy to see you're both strong characters and sometimes people like this have their differences. Also, the whole point of a forum such as this one is equality between all members. Now I understand this frustrates you, it even frustrates me sometimes but that's the way it is I guess.

Now why can't we all just get along?

Good Read, I subcommbed to getting rid of my H50 a few weeks back hopfully my Noctua Will turn up today from Ebuyer, My H50 Couldnt cool a cup of tea TBH, I just hope it fits in my board with the Vengeance ram..

I definitely have much love for Noctua's coolers. I have the sideways cousin to the D-14, being the C-14 and I absolutely adore it sitting atop my 1090. With one fan, I've gotten idle temps down around 25c and load temps after 12 hours of Prime at 39c. Excellent coolers all around, IMO.

Those temps are great, D14 is really good, running at 900rpm and it keeps my 1055t 3.5ghz 1.35v at 32c idle and 42c under load, room temp 27c

I really need to break down and get a thermometer in the room to measure my ambient temps. I keep it pretty cool in here though. Almost never turn the AC off since it's now May and I live in the Florida Keys...

Well i still dont think the Noctua is that great i was at the gadget shown and when Tom told me not to get a all in one water cooler he recommended the DH-14 well yes it performs well i didnt want a ton of metal hanging of my MB so i got the Antec 620 looks cleaner inside my case.

After 6 hours of prime my Phenom II x6 1090T OC to 4Ghz is around 45-49 core temps that around 13 less than what AMD recommend and there has been a few reports that they can take more than that and AMD say 62 to cover themselves.

its got a core V of 1.49 not 1.5 as the sig says.

Its silents as well the fans are plugged into the MB and are around 50% on full load so i could make it cooler if i ramped them up to 100% but i like the quiet.

And these temps are with one 80mm fan at 60% blowing air in and only the Antec as a exhaust so if i got a better case and more fans, temps would come down even more.

I dont regret my Antec Purchase at all i payed £46 for it and its looks cooler and is more sleek and allows better case airflow.

Thats my 2 pennies worth.
