So I will try keep this short and sweet.
I have the following installed into my case.
1x Noctua NF-P12 installed in the rear of my case & 1x Noctua NF-P14 FLX in the side of my case as a intake.
I am thinking of replacing them with 1x Corsair AF120 Quiet edition & 1x Corsair AF140 Quiet edition.
So the question is does anyone have any first hand experience with these Corsair fans? Are they an equal match to the Noctua's?
Because on paper the 120mm is way behind in CFM at the same noise level & the 140mm flows a little but at 5 dB louder.
I really like the look of the Corsair's but I would rather paint the Noctua's black than put a lesser fan in to replace it. The change is due to visual's not Air flow or noise.
Specs below:
Noctua NF-P12
Rotational Speed 1300 RPM
Airflow 92,3 m³/h=54.3 CFM
Acoustical Noise 19,8 dB(A)
Corsair AF120 Quiet edition
Rotational Speed 1100 RPM
Airflow 39.88 CFM
Acoustical Noise 21 dB(A)
Noctua NF-P14 FLX
Rotational Speed 1200 RPM
Airflow 110,3 m³/h= =64.9 CFM
Acoustical Noise 19,6 dB(A)
Corsair AF140 Quiet edition
Rotational Speed 1150 RPM
Airflow 67.8 CFM
Acoustical Noise 24 dB(A)
