Noctua iPPC 3000 PWM

Hi guys and mods! Just sharing the experience.. using the Noctua industrialPPC fan, the 3000rpm version. I bought the 140mm (NF-A14 industrialPPC-3000 PWM), priced USD 20, and using it as an outtake to the back of the case.

Several things visually noticeable when using a window case... the rubber pads on each corners are too apparent (brown although darker then the normal Noctua fans) and looks hanging IMO, I removed the ones on the back side (there are 8 separate rubber pads). The center of the fan seen from the back has no sticker, just black with a little depression. So looking through the case window, the fan looks plain. I made a sticker for it cause the fan just didn't look expensive nor high quality lol. Maybe the material makes it look worn out in the pic, I swear it's new.

This fan will go full speed on boot (using 12v with no PWM), making a very loud noise before slowing down when entering Windows. I uses this fan in NZXT H440 and because it's on the back, there's no sound dampening. I guess a bad choice if you are a silence maniac. But the performance is awesome, it can move hot air quickly. I have to tweak the fan to manage cool air for the rad on top, cause the cool air is not getting in fast enough using a H440 case (the hot air blown outside can sip back in through the PCIs holes, well in my case anyway).

Thanks n cheers!

Here's the fan in my case:
