Noctua fans look.... AWESOME!!!

No need to rage against the hive mind. All you have to do is point to a fan roundup. It turns out the 14cm Noctua is "nothing special."

I own the X-Silent 140 they recommended as well as Noctua's 14cm fan, but I haven't done any scientific comparisons myself.

I have compared the Noctua's with the Apache's directly in shop that my friend manages [coinsidentally it was comparing both the 140mm circle Noctua and 120mm square] And I can safely say the Noctua's didnt even compare with the apache's in the slightest. both at the same noise level the Apache's put out atleast 30% more air I would say more, the Noctua's really arent very good, they are just quiet [like the Apaches] but push hardly any air.

The new BeQuiet Fans also cr@p all over the Noctua's

The Noctua fans really arent all that good, as I said you can get fans just as silent but 2/3's of the price cheaper look nicer and work allot better. No brainer

I never had a bad problem with them tbh. I ordered it due to recommendations, and I was happy with it. They kept my Q6600 @ the max clock @ 55c stress, if they managed to do that, when the stock heatsink managed 45 @ stock, I don't care how they look.

They look clean, and tbh, I think the colour goes with anything. Plus, it's a thing like, if you see the colour you instantly know it's a Noctua and know it's quality.

They are just expensive and aren't higher quality and aren't even as good as other alternatives that are the correct price and not overpriced like these and work better, also look nicer.

The colour definitely doesn't go with anything lol..... unless you have a cream and brown case which I dont know anyone who does.... and it isn't a sign of quality because its no higher quality than the Bequiet or Apache fans that are still silent but work allot better AND are 2/3's of the price..

Just face it Noctua fans are overpriced ugly and dont perform near as well as other quiet fans the same 'loudness'.

Noctuas name is just a gimmick thus they can make their fans that arent as good as others ugly and expensive because they know close minded people and sheep will buy them thinking they are 'the highest quality' or the best when the reality is like I said they are just over priced ugly and under performing to its alternatives.

There really should be no reason to buy them... [unless you are a close minded sheep] Thermalright, Bequiet, and Alkasa Apache fans are all just as silent but push WAY more airflow and all look nicer and are allot cheaper...... with the Apaches coming in a range of different clours and the Bequiet's in black carbon fibre and the thermalright in a more pleasant look than the Noctua's. Like I said all push WAY more air than the Noctua's are just as silent look nicer are the same if not higher quaity and are allot cheaper, why anyone would get Noctua's over these just seems stupid.. well I no its just to be close minded sheep do zero research and follow the 'crowd' and waste money and look ugly.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion mate, but I would agree if he hadn't tested one. I've had their stuff and it was a pleasant experience. I do like Noctua and tbh I think it goes with most colours. Just try and match it, even using paint.

I posted the other day when I was thinking about what fans to get and I reported straight after I went to my friends shop he manages and we directly compared the Noctua's to the Apache's.......

And as I said at both the same loudness the Apache put out WAY more air, im talking more than 30%. Plus they come in a veriety of colours and have really cool s shaped blades and are of very high quality and robust, infact waterproof lol [not that you ever need it]

My friend also said the new BeQuiet Silent wings are allot better than the Noctua's.

Like I said, the Noctuas are very expensive 1/3rd more than the Apcahe's and BeQuiet's which are both just as silent yet they perform no way near aswell and arent any better quality and also only come in one ugly colour. As I said even if its each to their own I dont understand why anyone who has compared and isnt a sheep would go with the Noctua's...

I havent insulted anyone atall in the slightest, not once... if saying a product is not that good and pointing out exactly why that allot of people seem to love is insulting then thats in your head. The noctuas come in one colour which is Beige and brown, litrelly no cases go with this and they arent nice colours. The other alternative fans which are also allot better alround come in a veriety of colours....
